As we wrap up our U-pick season at Whitehead’s Blueberry Farm for this year I just wanted to thank you for all the new business that was generated by our advertising in your magazine! We DOUBLED our business from previous years and gained so many new and wonderful customers.The ad that your magazine created for us was beautiful and many people commented that they came to pick our blueberries after seeing it. Our participation in your Saturday Markets in downtown Winter Haven was a lot of fun and we enjoyed all the people that we met. Many of them came out to our farm for the very first time to pick blueberries!It is so wonderful when community awareness of local farms is increased. Local farmers need to have the support of their communities and families can greatly benefit from outings to local farms such as ours. We really enjoyed helping to educate our community about Florida blueberries and how they are grown. It is especially gratifying to see parents bringing their children to the farm to learn about the source of their food. We thank you for helping us to spread the word about this opportunity to the community.
